A member asked:

I have had norplant (levonorgestrel) n my arm for 16 years i have some of the side effects i don't have any insurance i need to find a university that can help me?

No problem: The effect of Norplant (levonorgestrel) runs out after 5 years; after that all that is left is the containers. Leaving the containers in place should not cause any "side effects", as the hormones that were in them are gone. People have all kinds of "foreign bodies" in their bodies (artificial knees, hips, heart valves, etc.)
