Stop worrying: Hi. Both of those lab abnormalities are meaningless. So don't worry. The way "normal" ranges for labs are calculated, 1 out of every 20 results for normal, healthy people is expected to be outside the "normal range". To have a low AST, it's not logical to think you need to cause a little more inflammation in your liver to bring it up! And in the absence of thrombocytopenia, MPV is meaningless
