Hemachromatosis: hemachromatosis is iron overload, a condition in which excess iron builds up in certain areas of the body; the iron can even cause diabetes, liver failure, arthritis and problems with the function of the heart. it can either be primary (inherited), or secondary, because of another problem, such as frequent transfusions or excess iron intake. treatment varies depending on the cause.
