Clarify...: Do you mean you can feel air pockets under your skin on your chest? Does the skin on your chest feel kind of like bubble wrap that you can pop? If so, you need to go to the ER for evaluation ASAP! If this description is right, that is called subcutaneous emphysema and the cause of this needs to be diagnosed. For example, you may have blebs in the lungs which burst with coughing. Good luck!!
