A member asked:

Where does pancreas hurt ? what tests to see if all is ok with it ?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Commonly back pain: Hi. Pancreas pain (usually pancreatitis) is usually described as back pack. If pancreatitis is the concern, the first tests would be serum amylase and lipase. Pancreatic cancer can cause pain; imaging is the best screening there for that (CT, endoscopic ultrasound, MRI, or ultrasound of bile duct). Good luck!
