Your best friend: I've decided that some people have a heroic lymph node that simply decides to handle all the minor invasions by microbes all by itself. If you're not running a fever or otherwise obviously sick, and the node's not huge or attached to something it shouldn't be, and you don't have any signs of a deep infection in a sinus or something that the node drains, then just watch it.
