Biochemical proof: Hi. Before any imaging of the pancreas is done, biochemical proof of fasting insulin-mediated pathological hypoglycemia should be established. Has that been done? If so, EUS is good, but still not as good as intraoperative US. If endogenous insulin-mediated pathological hypoglycemia is proven, the problem lies in the pancreas, and surgery is warranted. We need more info. Most insulinomas not CA.

Ct scan shows a possible lesion at head of pancreas with focal low attenuation mild prominence of the pancreatic duct. No symptoms. Can you explain.
