I have a single white spot on the back of my throat,its sore but it does not hurt too bad, it almost feels like a cut,can smoking cause a white spot?

See a doctor if you have these spots in your throat, particularly if you also have a fever and especially if you smoke. See your PCP for exam and yes, quit smoking.
