False positive: mammograms are seen frequently. As with any diagnostic test, it is not 100% accurate. With any persistent mammogram findings, biopsy is the best way to tell for sure what the abnormality really is.

Yes,: a hematoma or chronic blood clot can look similar to a breast cancer on mammography and ultrasound. It can feel like a lump clinically. Sometimes the hematoma will resolve on its own, but if it doesn't, a biopsy may be needed to make the diagnosis.
