No: any pathology in the ear even by an earing would show up as a nodal problem in the upper neck region. The armpit drains the arm and chest wall on the side of the armpit. If the ear is turning blue that is from decreased blood supply secondary to an infection resulting from the ear piercing. Warm soaks and antibiotics may help.
