Bactrim (sulfamethoxazole and trimethoprim): has been used for decades but there are people who are allergic. No one knows if you are one of them. Here is my question, why didn't you discuss this at the time with your prescribing physician? Personally, I'd be more concerned about my 8 " spider bite.
