Why wouldn't the doc tell me about taking bactrim (sulfamethoxazole and trimethoprim) w my asthma. so is it safe?? what do i need to know. it says to beware or not take it w asthma..help

No problem but: I usually try to avoid sulfa drug for my patients due to the relatively higher incidence of drug reaction. But use it if you must-whither asthma or not.
