Yes: Either Metronidazole or Doxycycline can cause gastrointestinal side effects, including diarrhea and anorexia if taken alone; taking both together certainly increases the likelihood of getting those side effects. Take antibiotics as directed, and follow up with your clinician if your symptoms become intolerable.
