Questionable: Other causes of painful menstruation should be ruled out.. Do you have any other problems from the septum such as recurrent miscarriages? What is the purpose of septum resection in your case? Is it a partial or a complete septum? Typically septum resection should not change your cycle rhythm or worsen your menstrual cramps
