How long for a colon polyp clamp to be passed? the dr said no mris for 6 weeks because of clip used for transverse colon polyp how long to heal?

Ask your doc: A colonic procedure should heal very quickly, likely within 5-7 days, but based on what your GI doc said, it must take several weeks for a clamp to fall off and pass. Ask you doctor for more specific answers on this. I for one would be very interested in his/her answer.

Follow the advise: Your Gastroenterologist knows the best. What kind of Clamp was used, how big was the polyp. It heals within 2 weeks. I am sure you have the follow up appointment with Him/Her to review the result of the biopsy. Please ask him/her
