difference between fibrous breast tissue and cancerous tumor? i have many moveable, squishy lumps. doc says ok bit causing anxiety when i feel.

Some women: Have lumpy breast tissues that become tender before period. That is fibrous tissue and benign. But cancer is usually one lump and is not tender.

Fibrous tissue: Is quite common. But if it’s causing you anxiety, I would suggest that you discuss with your doctor and have him/her explain the differences, go over your findings with you, and discuss the possibility of a mammogram if that is indicated in your situation and depending upon your history.
