Volume overload: Perhaps you have salt sensitive hypertension -- the addition of salt also causes volume overload and increases intracardiac pressure and strain --.

PVC and salt: Possibly your PVC are related to a blood volume induced stretch in your cardiac chambers; salt will do that to blood volume;
