Hoarseness?: I assume you were having trouble since you went to ent. Hoarseness or vocal fatigue should be gone before singing again. Do not smoke. Usually for inflammation, acid blockers like Nexium (esomeprazole) or Prilosec are given.

Vocal cords: How can they be fine and be very inflamed at same time? Must be cause, e.g. smoking, alcohol, reflux, particulate inhalation, allergy, improper vocal technique. Minimum vocal rest time is 3-4 weeks. Need to have serial follow up to avoid permanent damage.
