May take time: It may still get better on its own with time. But to facilitate the healing, you may use some scar creams that helps with healing. These creams or ointments can be purchased from OTC. You just have to be very careful not to get it inside your eye, which can cause serious irritation. You may want to see an oculofacial plastic surgeon to help with the recovery of the scar as well.
