A member asked:

Is it true hcg can increase leydig cell count? i've read that bodybuilders use hcg and it's been proven to regrow testicle size after steroid use.because it's growth hormone. using that logic i can use hcg to increase my leydig count to some degree?

Slow down logic: Do not dabble with hormones. Already you are confusing Human chorionic gonadotropin HCG with Human growth hormone HGH. Avoid buying hormones from the internet and bodybuilding zealots to obtain the perfect 6 pak or increased testosterone. There are many side effects and consequences. Check out sports legends and Olympians who have lost their titles. Hormone therapy requires Medical Supervision!

Somewhat true...: HCG mimics (binds to same receptor) as LH which in turn stimulates the Leydig cells of your testicles to produce sperm and testosterone. These Leydig cells enlarge and can provide more volume to the testicle (if it is underproducing due to testosterone supplements or primary gonadal failure). It can be used to increase testicular volume, increase testosterone, or both.
