Implanon: Women on Implanon are protected from pregnancy because of a constant release of progestin. Protection is needed for STD's but not to prevent pregnancy. It is not unusual for women to not have periods while on Implanon, however they may have occasional spot tin or even irregular bleeding as well. If you guys are concerned about pregnancy take a home pregnancy test.
