A member asked:

If i have a pilonidal cyst, should i see a general practitioner or dermatologist?

GP or surgeon: I don't think most dermatologists would want to see you. Many primary care docs can handle this situation while others would refer you to a general surgeon. Depending on the situation an office procedure may or may not be enough to fix the issue.
