I take a photo class, and my fingers were in the chemistry and are red and itchy, how do i clean/treat it?

Gentle soap: Cleanse with gentle unscented soap like dove or basis soap, rinse well, then apply moisture cream such as vanicream or eucerin while still damp. Add 1%hydrocorisone cream 2 times a day also, for the itching and inflammation. Wear protective gloves in photo class!
