Stop cannabis use !: If you can find a quiet place - do so. Breath in slowly & deeply through your nostrils. Fill your lungs with air (but not to the point of discomfort). Hold for a count of five then slowly begin to exhale through an open mouth. Repeat at least 12 times, longer if you need to.

Stop weed: This may sound really obvious, but have you thought of just stopping your use of an illegal and mind-altering drug. In medicine, the benefit of ANY treatment must outweigh the side effects. Doesn't sound like that's the case for you here. Find a legal and healthy long term solution to your anxiety and life stressors. That strategy will take you much farther in life.

Substance Use: You are not alone - others have this reaction too regardless of what some people say, that Marijuana is relaxing and all good. The active ingredient in Marijuana is THC, a hallucinogen. It would be advisable for you to take this substance out of your life.

Weed: In addition to the excellent advice you've been given, my clinical experience is that some people respond to weed w/anxiety and even paranoia. Please consider other approaches to anxiety such as talk therapy and/or www.relaxationresponse.org. Peace and good health.
