Why should one not take nitroglycerin if they are in cardiac arrest?

Cardiac arrest: If one is in cardiac arrest, you are in no shape to take anything, you are going to be dead unless someone helps you. Generally the blood pressure is extremely low and nitrolglycerine will only make it worse in most cases.
