Symptoms: If you have a problem with a root canaled tooth, you can still feel soreness and/or pain with he tooth through the periodontal ligament (pdl) that surrounds the root of the tooth. Looseness and/or pain to biting or a bad taste and/or swelling adjacent to the tooth may all be symptoms that a root canal is failing. An xray film of the tooth can confirm problems once reported to the dentist.

Issues after rct: Best way is to have the tooth xrayed to see if there is an issue.
