Started 3day z-pack for sinus infection on 3/4/14. congestion got better for about two days but is now back. go back to dr. or wait it out?

Z pack not answer: AZYTHROMYCIN is not the "greatest" antibiotic for sinus infection since the blood levels are often not high enough to reach deep sinus infections. Furthermore, there are RESISTANT organisms being described (probably due to OVERUSE of the Z Pac) You need a longer course of therapy with an antibiotic which reaches the sinuses. Ask your PCP to refer you to an ENT specialist ....
