A couple questions: Did you have symptoms during the HIDA scan? Were the symptoms similar to what you feel when you eat? My experience as a surgeon is that most people with biliary dyskinesia who have symptoms that are reproduced during the HIDA scan test do feel better after gallbladder removal. There is a small number of people who do not improve afterwords, but this number is very small.
