What's the difference between a sinus infection and an impacted sinus? i have had chills, sweats, dizziness and pressure headache for a week now

Sinusitis : Sinusitis or inflammation of the sinuses can cause headaches, blockages and lead to infection. Sometimes a sphenoid sinus infection can be caused by allergies and difficult to threat. Infection usually develops when there is blockage of the sinus passage ways. It is important to maintain a follow-up visit with an ears nose and throat physician or otolaryngologist to monitor your symptoms.

Sinus: Great question. KInda the same thing but if you have a fever its more likely a sinus infection and needs to be treated with antibiotics. Sinus impaction may be related to allergies or blockage of the sinuses
