A member asked:

3.5 month baby no longer sleep thro the night. up every 1.5 hours hungry in night&during the day he only eats 4oz breastmilk vs 6oz he ate. is this ok?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Growth spurt?: It is a known fact that babies have growth spurts at 3 weeks, 6 weeks, 3 months, 6 months. However this baby is drinking less during the day, so probably is drinking same in 24 hr period but has learned to wake up at night and drink more then. Babies around 4 months should be able to sleep for 5-6 hrs straight at night. Need to start considering "ferberizing" at night.
