Depends: Fever alone can be difficult to interpret. How long has the fever been, are there other symptoms, is the child immunized, is anyone around him sick? These and other questions can help a doctor clarify what is happening. If you would like, you can sign up for a free video visit via HealthTap to have your child evaluated. For patients outside the US we cannot prescribe but only give medical advice.
