Iliopsoas strain: Sounds reasonable. Does it hurt while she is slowly changing position from standing to sitting position? The iliopsoas is there "so as" you can sit down. 3 weeks is a bit long for it to not improve unless reinjured. Might be time to see her pediatrician.
