A 27-year-old female asked:
Can stretching your neck muscles while poking and prodding at your neck muscles and tendons leave pain in that region afterwards? thank you

It depends: When doing stretches, always use proper technique. Do not press too hard with your fingers if you want to massage yourself. This does not sound like disease, but if any concerns still remain, see your doctor for a proper exam.
