Yes: Liver damage can lead to the buildup of ammonia and other toxic materials in the body. The toxic materials can damage brain tissue. That could show up as impaired motor control, spasms, twitches. But if liver disease is mild it's less likely, but there are many factors that can result in both liver disease AND nerve/muscle abnormalities. It's worth getting checked out by your doc.
