A member asked:

Can arteries/veins cause pain? i've had pain in the back of my neck for 2 days. not sure if it's being caused by an artery/vein or a muscle/tendon.

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Pain. : Vasculitis, an inflammation of an artery, can cause discomfort or pain in the area of the artery locally. That being said, if your diagnosis is uncertain you should have a doctor evaluate you. Don’t just assume what’s going on.
