Location,sex active?: "boils" can be due to localized infection of skin, ingrown hair, pus pocket (abscess), , may actually be enlarged lymph nodes due to infection, lymphoma (cancer of lymph nodes), inflammation, can be a manifestation of sexually transmitted diseases like chancroid, lgv, syphilis, etc.. Get checked out, even if not sexually active.
