Pseudotumor cerebri: A diagnosis of idiopathic intracranial hypertension (pseudotumor cerebri) requires a good headache history, physical examination, lumbar puncture, and possibly imaging. Symptoms usually include a headache that is worse when lying flat as well as visual disturbances. See a neurologist for further evaluation. http://www.nlm.nih.gov/medlineplus/ency/article/000351.htm

No eye problems? : The primary dangers of your IIH are blindness from the increased pressure damaging the optic nerve, & the effects of the morbid obesity that is usually associated with this condition. As far as symptoms, headaches, double vision, & sometimes ringing in the ears are the typical ones. Your faintness may be a headache variation, or have another cause. Please get regular eye exams. Hope that helps.
