Mesothelioma is an: Aggressive malignancy of the tissue (pleura) that lines the lungs and chest cavity. It produces fluid that crowds the lung leading to short breath, fatigue; it can invade the chest wall causing pain on deep breaths, or with cough or sneeze. The most aggressive type is sarcomatus, and subtypes of mixed and epithelial may have different prognoses.
