How is mesothelioma diagnosed?

Imaging, blood tests: Mesothelioma is a disease caused by exposure to asbestos. It is typically diagnosed by various imaging studies (ct scan, chest x-ray) and biopsies.

Biopsy: This can be diagnosed by needle core biopsy but generally and more convincingly by vats (video-assisted thoracoscopic surgery). Specific diagnosis is critical as this cancer is particularly deadly.
