Yes: The nature of the malignancy and the stage that the tumor is in defines the nature of the treatment to be offered. While thet treating pohysician must remain positive because of the number of new therapeutics that are becoming available, failure to clearly describe what is necessary for management bastd on stage of disease, can only lead to distrust.

Yes,so you plan yr L: Stage determines your prognosis, so if you want to plan your future better, then you would want to know what your odds of survival from your Cancer will be like. This may give you more hope and lessen your anxiety. yet it is up to you to ask for more info or less info from your oncologist.
