Hemoptysis: You may have posterior nose bleeds or biting your cheeks while asleep. You will need a good head and neck exam by an ENT to find the source of bleeding. In the mean time, keep air moist and warm in your bedroom to minimize drying of nasal mucosa that then cracks and bleeds.
