Pharyngitis: It could be one of the many viruses that are circulating this time of year or possibly strep. She should see her pediatrician for a strep test.

Pharyngitis : could be viral uri, mononucleosis or strep throat, please take her to her pediatrician for thorough exam and possible rapid strep, throat culture and maybe monospot test

Viral infection: Your daughter's symptoms are most likely due to a virus. This can be treated with fluids and rest, saltwater gargles for sore throat, Tylenol (acetaminophen) or Motrin and for fever headache and chills. Symptoms usually resolve in 10 to 14 days. If her symptoms get worse, follow up with her pediatrician.
