Your son: Provide soothing fluids, monitor your son's temperature and use Tylenol rather than Motrin for fever control. You may both have COVID 19 and should isolate from others. Testing is important in confirming the diagnosis, and a flu swab may be obtained at the same time. Watch for signs of worsening respiratory status and if this occurs, please see the Emergency department. Check local resources.
