Low Hb: Your hemoglobin in lower than normal. The lower limit for a women is 12 gm. Are you losing too much blood during your periods? It would be prudent to consult your doctor. In the mean time you may take oral iron supplements and multivitamin tablets.

Yes, on the low side: You would qualify as slightly anemic, but not severely. I can't give you more info about why without more historical information but very likely if you have heavy menses you are iron deficient. To further clarify, discuss this with the doctor that ordered the test.

Possibly: Although a hemoglobin level of 11 is less than the ideal of 12, it isn't exceptionally low . Keep in mind, if you are somewhat dehydrated during the time of the blood draw, your hemoglobin level will be reported as artificially high. More specific blood tests can be performed to confirm if anemia is the true cause of your symptoms.

On the low side: But it's not particularly low, and understand that many young women, who are actively menstruating(particularly if they have heavy bleeding), have hemoglobins in this range and have no symptoms - though, everyone's body is different in terms of what he/she will tolerate. You should review with your doctor the cause of your anemia. Iron may be helpful for you.
