Can yeast infections cause irritation in the urethra?

Possibly: Usually just itching and discharge; however, if the infection extends into the urethra, it can cause inflammation.

Yeast infections...: Yeast infections cause inflammation and irritation of the vaginal vault as well as the vagina. This can include inflammation of the urethra leading to pain with urination. If there is any concern that you have a UTI you should see your physician for a urinalysis. Take care.
