Yes: Low energy and weight gain are common side effects of low thyroid (hypothyroid). Depending on the type of nodules, you could be in a hypothyroid state. Have your TSH tested and treat accordingly.

Depends: Sometimes thyroid nodules may produce ineffective/inefficient thyroid hormone thereby causing your hormonal balance to be off. Most of the time these are benign and innocuous but may need to be followed depending on the size and the consistency (i.e. cystic versus solid). You definitely should have a workup for your symptoms and follow up with your Doctor.
