Neg x-ray is good: It is doubtful you "ruptured" the bursa because then it couldn't fill with blood. If you've had x-rays I presume someone looked at your knee and attended to the cuts. Were they sutured? How long ago was the injury? Did they drain the bursa? Are you getting an infection (redness, pus, swelling, worsening pain, or fever)? If so you need to go back, or to ER. We need answers to these questions to help.
