Fibroid treatment: There is really no medicine to shrink the fibroid. Fibroid usually shrink with aging and with menopause. If does not bothers the recommendation is to leave it alone.

Medications: We do have medications that can temporarily shrink fibroids,namely Lupron (leuprolide).this medicine is only effective while it is being administered.iIn the pipeline there mane drugs that shrink it permanently but we are NT there yet.

Diet exercise help: Fibroids grow with estrogen stimulation so an anti-estrogen approach will be helpful. Diet and exercise to lose body fat (secondary source of estrogen) very helpful. Diet rich in colored vegetables, fruit (which contain flavonoids which block key enzyme in estrogen production) . Trying to avoid hormone-rich foods (red meat, chicken, dairy) also help. Soy substitution can benefit too.
