Late period: At 21, pregnancy is by far the most common cause of delayed periods, but there are other causes. If this is an uncommon situation for your cycle, get a serum pregnancy test (HCG) from your healthcare provider, and if negative, see your provider for testing and advice.

Home pregnancy test: If you are 24 days late on your period and are having unprotected intercourse, its possible that you are pregnant. There are other causes of a missed period besides pregnancy, though. The easiest way for you to know for sure would be to do a home pregnancy test. You can buy one without a prescription at the drug store. You'll have an answer in 5 minutes. Best wishes!
