Late period: Pregnancy is only one cause for a delayed period. Illness, hormone changes, stress, etc. my all contribute. Cramping with a delayed period is not unusual. A pregnancy test is will be positive by the time of a missed period. If a test is negative and the period continues to be delayed, your gynecologist can evaluate and treat.
